Do You have a COVID-19 Production Plan?

Do You have a COVID-19 Production Plan?

You should be concerned.  We’re feeling a little worried, too. At the risk of sounding opportunistic, we want to help you keep your business running, should you perceive a need.

If what’s already happened in other countries is applied in North America, your production could be slowed, or halted indefinitely.  No one knows to what extent this pandemic will touch each of us.

It is reasonable to assume that it will affect more densely populated areas to a greater extent than sparsely populated rural locations.  If your production facility is located in an urban area, it might be prudent to consider a back-up production plan.

If ever there was a time to consider engaging with a reliable, trustworthy contract manufacturer, it’s now.  MSI is a seasoned ISO 2001:2015 contract manufacturer employing 300 people in our 178,000 SF facility in rural, northern Vermont.  According to the 2010 US census, the population of our entire county was less than 25,000.  Of the two cases in Vermont to-date, one is 150-miles away near the Massachusetts border, with the other 40-miles away in the more densely-populated Burlington area.  The likelihood of MSI’s being significantly affected by this condition would seem more favorable here than in some areas.

If your business needs to slow-down or shut-down, you can continue to do business by shifting some of your processes, maybe your entire supply chain to MSI.  This can be facilitated without leaving your facility, or visiting ours.  If your production involves…

  • Electrical Assembly
  • Mechanical Assembly
  • Carbon Fiber, Specialty Material or Composite Ply Cutting & Kitting
  • Fulfillment, Logistics & Warehousing
  • FFL Assembly, QC & Testing
  • Metal Finishing & Preparation

…you might want to consider contacting us to see how MSI can help keep your supply chain intact.

As always, MSI’s 100% Zero-Defect Guarantee and Fixed Per-Unit Pricing minimizes your risks and stabilizes your costs, while keeping your production pipeline flowing.  Should you feel the need to find out what your options are relative to your production, please call or email me directly.

From all of us at MSI, we sincerely hope that none of us is closely affected by this virus.  Please take all of the precautions indicated by the authorities.  Together, we will get through this.
