Reaching across the border! The State of Vermont Governor’s Trade Mission with Quebec was held on November 13-14, 2018.A delegation representing federal and state government officials, and a contingent of Vermont-based businesses traveled to Montreal for a 2-day event designed to facilitate the development of meaningful business relationships between the state and province. Keith Koehler from MSI was invited to participate.
On day-one, the Vermont businesses were treated to a number of presentations offering advice and resources toward that end. On day-two, businesses from both sides of the border were matched-up in face-to-face meetings to discuss the opportunities. From all accounts, the event was a success. New and improved relationships with prospective business partners are sure to lead to forthcoming business which will benefit the entire region.
